The Tuttle Times

TUTTLE Gabriel’s Floral & Greenery, a new florist in Tuttle, held their ribbon cutting on Friday, Nov. 17. Present for the ceremony was (from left) Farm Bureau agent and city councilor Brad Traxler, Chief of Police Don Cluck, owner Tom Burgett, City Manager Jerry A. Taylor, owner Melissa Burgett, Chamber Manager Christy Kettler, Chamber President Janie Book, and Chamber Ambassadors Vickey Grammont and Bruna Varalli-Claypool. Gabriel’s Floral & Greenery specializes in quality, contemporary design and gifts. They plan to provide a more contemporary, upscale floral experience in the area. Owners Tom and Melissa Burgett have lived in Tuttle for several years, and Tom graduated from Tuttle High School in 1992. The Burgetts have a son and daughter that attend Tuttle Schools. To celebrate their grand opening over the weekend, they gave away a tropical design valued at more than $150. The drawing winner was Fay Byers. Gabriel’s provides Teleflora services, offering floral delivery worldwide. “We want to provide excellent customer service and let people experience a florist the way it should be,” said Tom Burgett. Gabriel’s is located at 6821 East Hwy. 37 in Tuttle. For more information about their services, give them a call at 392-3300.
