Chamber of Commerce to elect board members

The next Chamber meeting will be held February 14th in the Opera House at noon. This will be our annual meeting and election of the Board of Directors.

The nominees for the Board are: Ms. Jo Bazhaw representing the Tuttle Round-Up Club; Mr. and Mrs. Todd Boatright from Todd's Custom & Collision; Mrs. Janie Book from Tuttle Banking Center; Mr. James Burney; Mr. Lee Coker from Tuttle Public Schools; Mr. Tommy Koeltzow from Koeltzow Homes, LLC; Mrs. Angie Lewis from Canadian Valley Technology Center; Rev. Todd Littleton from Snow Hill Baptist Church; Mrs. Peggy Oberfield from Marolyn Pryor, Realtors; Mrs. Teresa M. Sullivan, CPA; Mr. Jerry Taylor from the City of Tuttle; Mr. Gregg Vandaveer from Sooner State Bank; and Mrs. Leslie Walker from Flower Boutique.

We will receive our annual financial report from our treasurer, Mrs. Teresa Sullivan and annual report from our manager, Mrs. Christy Kettler.

Once we confirm our Board of Directors, they will meet and select officers for 2007.

Our next community event will be the Easter Egg Hunt - it is not too early to buy eggs, donate small individually wrapped candy, shop for prizes to be given away, etc. We truly want our egg hunt to get better every year and we need your help to do so.

The egg hunt will be April 7th and we will need volunteers to help stuff eggs and help with the hunt (hiding the eggs and passing out prizes).

Coming events are: February 14th is our next Chamber meeting as well as Valentine's Day, Community Easter Egg Hunt will be April 7th in Schrock Park, the City-Wide Garage Sale is May 18-19 and the Ice Cream Festival is July 4th (it is also Tuttle's official Centennial Celebration).
