Miss Tuttle pageant seeks contestants

The Tuttle Fair will be held August 10th -11th. In conjunction with the fair will be the Miss Tuttle Princess Pageant. Girls in the ninth through twelfth grades who attend Tuttle High School, or who are home-schooled and live in the Tuttle School District are eligible to enter. Local businesses are encouraged to find a girl to sponsor for the pageant. Not only will persuading a young lady to get involved in the pageant help her self-esteem, but it will also be great publicity for your company.

The competition will include personal interview, evening gown, on-stage question, talent, photogenic, and congeniality. Contestants do not need to provide photos this year. A photographer will take pictures at a meeting to be held on July 31st. These pictures will be used for the photogenic competition and for the newspaper. The girls will also ride in the Tuttle Fair Parade on Saturday, August 11th.

The entry fee for the contestants is to bake a cake for the annual cake auction. Competition will be held on Friday, August 10th at Bill Hinkle Field. The crowning of the princess will be Saturday, August 11th immediately following the cake auction.

Girls interested in competing in the Miss Tuttle Pageant may pick-up entry forms at Williams Discount Foods in Tuttle. The forms must be picked-up before July 30th. If you have any questions, please contact Sondra Garrett at 381-4256 or 361-3491.
