to perform

Come enjoy Southern Gospel’s bass soloist Terry Hall at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 27 at Friendship United Methodist Church, four-and-a-half miles south of Minco to County Road 1220, turn west four miles to County Street 2790, then go one-half mile south. Everyone is welcome.

 

Taste of Yukon set for tonight

Yukon's Robertson Activity Center, located at Highway 66 and Mustang Road, will be the venue for “Taste of Yukon.” The food extravaganza will feature local and area restaurants and food vendors and will take place on Thursday, March 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For additional information, telephone Jan Scott at 405-350-8937.



Refresh your green thumb

Garden planting time is just around the corner. If you would like to touch up on your gardening skills consider joining me for a series of free gardening classes to be held at the Newcastle Public Library. We will be discussing gardening soils and warm season vegetable production on Thursday, March 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. At the same time, on April 2, the discussion will be on turf grass management and backyard fruit production. Cox City church hosts singing

The Cox City Baptist Church welcomes the community to attend their fifth Sunday Singing on Sunday, March 29 at 6 p.m. Pastor Bill Love would like to invite you to come and enjoy this evening of praise and worship. We will share the joy of singing and praising the Lord with individual and group specials, as well as congregational singing. There will be a fellowship with snacks following the service. The Tuttle Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Schrock Park on Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m.  All children ages 0-10 are invited to hunt more than 2.000 prize and candy eggs.
