Tuttle enrollment set

— The 2008-2009 Tuttle kindergarten enrollment for students new to the Tuttle School District or who did not attend Pre-K at Tuttle Schools will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2 at Tuttle Elementary School. Your child does not need to attend enrollment.
Requirements for enrollment are: The child must be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2008; legal birth certificate (not hospital); up-to-date immunization record with the required shots, including five DPT, four polio, two MMR, three HEP B, two HEP A, and one varicilla (chicken pox) or have had the disease; and verification of residence in Tuttle School District - utility bill, lease, etc.
Kindergarten Readiness: All children who are five years old on or before Sept. 1, are eligible to attend kindergarten, according to state law. However, you as a parent or guardian may decide that your child would benefit from waiting another year to begin kindergarten. This is both legal and acceptable from the school’s point of view.
