Minco fireman’s fundraiser set for May

— Minco’s annual Fireman’s Fundraiser dinner, sponsored by the Pocasset Masonic Lodge, will be held Sunday, May 4 at the Minco Fire Department located at 107 N. W. 3rd in Minco.
A free barbecue pulled pork dinner with all the trimmings and dessert prepared by wives of the volunteer fireman will be served. Excess desserts will be auctioned at various times throughout the day.
While the meal is free, donations will be accepted at the door.
All donations will be distributed among Harold, Pocasset, Cogar and Minco Volunteer Fire Departments.
Last year, the dinner raised more than $8,000, which was matched by the Pocasset Masonic Lodge.
