Tournament to benefit lung transplant

Bradley Davis, the son of Ronnie and Teresa Davis of Tuttle, was born prematurely and has spent most of his life in the hospital due to the lung disease, bronchopulmonary dysplasia. He has been on oxygen since birth due to the disease.

Bradley was placed on the lung transplant list two years ago when his condition began to deteriorate. He and his family will temporarily re-locate to St. Louis to await a double lung transplant. This will be Bradley’s 21st surgery and the family hopes it will be the one to cure Bradley’s condition.

Bradley is a happy and courageous young man who takes everything life hands him as simply one more hurdle to overcome.

The Davis family says, “we thank all our family and friends for being there for Bradley. We know he is always in their thoughts and prayers.”

A benefit golf tournament, sponsored by Burton Controls, will be held for Bradley Davis on May 23 with a Shotgun Start at 8 a.m. at Winter Creek Golf Course.

Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place and the first 36 teams will be accepted.
