for IC Services

The Tuttle Fire Department has teamed up with Infant Crisis Services to raise awareness about the growing problem of hunger facing Oklahoma’s tiniest citizens. Help Another Mother is a donation drive May 18-31 to collect baby formula and diapers for Infant Crisis Services. Donations can be dropped off at the Tuttle fire station.

 

Cox retirement party planned

You are cordially invited to the retirement arty for Newcastle High School Principal Joe Cox. Join in and say good-bye and thank you for so many years of service. Make plans to attend on Thursday, May 21 from 3 - 5:30 p.m. at the Newcastle Community Center. A basket will be available for cards with personal sentiments to Mr. Cox.



Cheer signups set for May 29

Tuttle Little League Cheer sign up deadline is May 29th. Girls must have completed Kindergarten, squads by grade. There is a $45 sign up fee, call today Amanda 615-3967 or Tammy 609-4982.



Memorial Day services set Memorial Day services for our veterans will be held on Monday, May 25 at the Fairview Cemetery at 11 a.m. There will be some changes in the service this year and we will be putting flags and crosses on our veterans’ graves on Thursday, May 21 at 8:30 a.m. If you would like to help, contact Howard or Becky Aterberry.



Farmer’s Market opening delayed

The starting date for the Tuttle Farmer’s Market has been changed to June 6. Because of late freezes and excessive rainfall, our vendors have no crops and some have had to replant.



Support groups to meet

The Depression and Bipolar Support Group meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Yukon. Meetings are free and free brochures are available. Family and friends are also invited. Contacts are Cheryl 354-5650 or Iva Cook 373-0059



Class of ‘99 reunion set

The Tuttle High School Class of 1999 10- year reunion will be held June 26-27. Classmates will dine in private with a live DJ in the Copperhead Room at Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma City on Friday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. (adults only).
