Chamber seeks nominations for Citizen of the Year

The Tuttle Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the Tuttle Citizen of the Year. Each year the Chamber honors an area resident who has given his or her time and talent for the betterment of the Tuttle community. The winner serves as the marshal of the July 4 Ice Cream Festival parade. The winner also receives a basket of prizes donated by local merchants.

If you know someone who has worked hard to make Tuttle a better place to live, please nominate him or her for Citizen of the Year. It could be your child’s little league coach, a businessman or woman who has contributed to the community, a mother or father who has volunteered their time for a worthy community cause, a teacher who has made a positive difference in the lives of children, or anyone you think deserves this honor.

Past winners of Citizen of the Year include James Burney, Jack and Elwanda Walker, Jim and Ann Arganbright, Deanna Hardesty, James and Kathy Cobble, Larry Harris and Brian Stewart.

Nomination forms will be printed in the Tuttle Times or can be obtained by calling the Chamber office at 381-4600. All nominations need to be turned in or received by the Tuttle Area Chamber of Commerce by Friday, June 13. The Tuttle Area Chamber of Office is located at 2422 E. Highway 37 and the mailing address is P.O. Box 673, Tuttle, OK 73089.
