Ready, set, turtle race

— The Turtle Races are back for another year. The contest is planned for 2 p.m. in Schrock Park, with the winner receiving a $500 savings bond provided by the Tuttle Banking Center. Contest rules will be posted at the event area, however here are a few of the most important:
Participants must be 12 or under
A turtle may be shared among participants by entering the turtle in separate heats
Each participant is guaranteed a prize. There will be at least 10 heats.
A participant may only enter a turtle once, but a turtle can be entered in every heat. For example, Joe can enter “Speedy” in Heat 1. Participants Jane, John, Jill, Jack and Jason could enter “Speedy” in Heats 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 respectively.
