True Oak Fellowship joins Paper Retriever program

In an effort to protect the environment and provide opportunities for local children, True Oak Fellowship has joined the Paper Retriever program.

A large paper collection bin has been placed at the church parking lot at 20 Worley Creek Drive (three and one-half miles east of downtown Tuttle), and they are asking local residents and businesses to please consider collecting their paper waste and instead of throwing it away, bringing it to the collection bin to be recycled.

“We’re very excited about our partnership with the Paper Retriever program,” said children’s church teacher Regina Garvie. “Not only will it help us fund programs for Tri-City youth, it also helps keep our planet cleaner for them in the future. It’s a real win-win situation.”

All of the money earned from the recycling will go directly to benefit the children’s church program, funding crafts, snacks, curriculum and the all-important candy, toys, games and other prizes for the Tree House store.

Kids at True Oak Fellowship can earn bucks by memorizing Bible verses and facts, bringing guests or bringing their Bibles, and they can save them or spend them in the store each month. For more information about True Oak Fellowship, visit them online at www.trueoak.net.
