THS Parents to
sell Indian Tacos
The THS Parent Association will be serving Indian Tacos for lunch and dinner on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Tuttle Round-Up building. Come by and have lunch, or come early to the Tuttle vs. Blanchard football game and eat an Indian Taco.
Basketball Booster Club to meet
The Tuttle Basketball Booster Club will meet Oct. 11, at 3:30 p.m. in the high school gym lobby. All parents who have a child participating in basketball are encouraged to attend. Girls Little Dribblers will begin Oct. 10. If you have not already signed up, Please contact Marty Williams at 381-4990.
United Methodist to host Fall Bazaar
Tuttle United Methodist Church will hold its first annual Fall Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 402 S. Cimarron, featuring a bake sale, specialty gifts, antiques, vintage cookbooks and linens, floral arrangements, arts and crafts and a rummage sale. Lunch will be served, including our “famous” Indian Tacos from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All money collected will go to our church missions.
Amateur radio
classes offered
Amateur radio classes are being offered at the First Baptist Church, 14 S. W. 2nd in Tuttle, use west door. Classes began Tuesday, Sept. 8 and will run for 10 weeks, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with exams the following week. The class is free, the book is $25 and the exam is $15. Girl Scout troops now forming
Tuttle Girl Scout troops are currently being formed for the 2009-2010 school year. We have new leaders who are energetic and excited about getting started. All girls in Kindergarten or above are welcome to join. Contact Susan Hinckley at 381-5448 to register or for more information.
Football Boosters offerbricks
The Tuttle Football Boosters Club will be selling bricks that will go on the new wall that will be in front of the ticket booth. Three lines of engraving are available on the bricks and may feature student or alumni names, sports positions played or other information. The cost is $50 per brick. Support group
to meet
The Depression and Bipolar Support Group meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Yukon. Meetings are free and free brochures are available. Family and friends are also invited. Contacts are Cheryl 354-5650 or Iva Cook 373-0059
Elementary schools to hold big sale
The Tuttle/Newcastle Elementary Schools will hold a children’s consignment sale fundraiser in the Tuttle Elementary School cafetorium from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, with a half-price sale from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Gently-used children’s clothing, toys, bedding, baby equipment and more will be available. Also featured are concessions, bake sale, exotic animals petting area, fall picture packages and lots of vendor booths.
