Tuttle and Northern District Fair Winners

— Jacob Hinkle and his mother, Roberta are shown here with their recent winnings from the Tuttle and Northern District Fairs. Jacob took first place and Grand Champion in the Junior Division for his Italian Cream Cake, which sold for $325 at the Tuttle Fair. Roberta also won first place and Grand Champion in the Senior Division for her German Chocolate Cake, which also sold for $325 at the Tuttle Fair. Both cakes purchased by EVCO, a local business. Jacob and Roberta also participated in the Northern District Fair which was held in Minco this year. Once again, Jacob placed first and Grand Champion in the Junior Division, and Roberta placed first and Grand Champion in the Senior Division. Jacob's cake was purchased by Minco Elevator and Supply and Roberta's cake was purchased by William's Foods. They both received silver platters, trophies, purple rosettes and $100 for each cake. Roberta also received a silver platter for the Grand Champion Cake given in memory of Dimple Carrell over all the divisions at the Northern District Fair.
