ALBERT ‘GENE’ EUGENE KELLEY
Albert ‘Gene’ Eugene Kelley was born September 15, 1926, the child of Albert Worth Kelley, Sr. and Maud Mae (Sanger) Kelley, and passed from this life on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the age of 81 after a lengthy illness.
Albert was born in Bridge Creek, Oklahoma, and lived most of his life in the Bridge Creek area, settling in Tuttle in 1968. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was stationed in Germany and France until being honorably discharged in 1952. He worked on his family’s farm in Bridge Creek before starting a career with Nabisco where he retired in 1987 after 41 years.
He married Wanda M. Smalley on March 20, 1983, and together, they loved going to church, reading the Bible and working in the garden. He loved the OU Sooners, eating Nabisco cookies, but especially his children and grandchildren. He attended Snowhill Baptist Church for 35 years until 2006 when he became a member of the Tuttle Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by: His parents, his daughter, Paula McKenzie; his brothers: Calvin Kelley, Vernon Kelley, Harold Kelley, Clarence Kelley and Jackson Kelley; his sisters: Gertrude Welchel, Clara McCormick and Alice Claytor; grandson, Jarrod Smalley; and special aunt and uncle, Will and Hattie King of Blanchard, Oklahoma.
Survivors include: wife, Wanda, of the home in Tuttle; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Mary Kelley of Newcastle, OK; daughter, Heather Smalley of Omaha, NE: daughter, Kathy Milligan of Wayne, NE; son, Kim Smalley of Coyle, OK; daughter, Karri DuBois of Argyle, TX; son and daughter-in-law Kirk and Laura Smalley of Coyle, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Byron Hughes of Tuttle, OK; sister, Vera Warnasche of Belton, TX; daughter-in-law, Cindy Smalley of Blanchard, OK; son-in-law, Jim McKenzie of Mustang, OK; Smalley-Sparks of Purcell, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at the Tuttle Church of Christ at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2008, under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home with burial following in Blanchard Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gene Kelley, Keenan Kelley, Krieg Kelley, Kim Smalley, Kirk Smalley, Byron Hughes and Austin Hughes. Honorary Pallbearers are Brad McKenzie, Dustin Milligan, Josh Milligan, Tom Pollock, Jay Watson, Jack Collins, David Wynn, Gerald Sipe and Bob Scott.

RICHARD
QUENTIN HART, SR.
Funeral services for Richard Quentin Hart, Sr., were held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 31st , 2007, at the new Life Christian Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ezell Nelson officiating.
Richard was born on November 2nd, 1930 , and died on December 28th, 2007, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 77 years of age.
Born in Chickasha, the third child of Joseph Luther Hart, Jr., and Eva Jane Whitehurst Hart, Richard graduated from Chickasha High School in 1948. He then attended Oklahoma A&M, now OSU. After joining the National Guard 45th Infantry brigade he served active duty in the Korean Conflict.
Upon returning from Korea, Richard went to work for Dowell Chemical Co. as a chemical engineer in Augusta, Georgia. He met the love of his life, Jean Carolyn Ferguson in nearby Beach Island, South Carolina. They married on June 9th, 1954.
After the wedding, Richard and Jean moved to Texas with Dowell. They returned to Oklahoma in the fall of 1954, and Richard joined his father, J. L. Hart, Jr., at the Hart Cotton Machine Co. In 1963 they started Hart Dairy. Richard also worked for Jamco Machine shop and Molica Machine Works. Richard worked as City Water Superintendent from 1976-1978. Then he and Jean started Chickasha Design and Machine, Hart Feeds, Hart Transportation and Hart Farms. Richard was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.
Richard Quentin Hart, Sr., is preceded in death by: his parents; his sister, Eva Jo Gentry Etheridge; two sisters-in-law, Geri Hart and Cordelia Hart. Richard is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Jean Carolyn; three brothers and spouses, Joseph Luther Hart, III, Robert Theodore Hart and Helen, and John Darrell Hart and Evanelle; three children and their spouses, Lisa and Rick Hart of Chickasha, Dr. Cindy and Larry Kidd of Jackson, Ohio, and Judy and Don Nelson of Chickasha; six grandchildren: Daniel Hart of Chickasha and Amelia Hart of San Francisco, California, Mitchell McVey of Tulsa, Carly and Alex Kidd of Jackson, Ohio; Hugh Hart Nelson of Chickasha; and by one great-grand child, Malea McVey of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers were Mariano Ruiz, Jeff Schenk, Allen Schenk, James Schlecht, Jon Brown, Tim Elliott, Arnold Johnson and David Turner. Music was provided by Kristy Dehart Jarnagin, accompanied by Ashley Posey.
Memorials may be sent to the new life Christian Church, the Epworth United Methodist youth fund and St. Jude’s children’s hospital.
VERA FAYE
BOUDREAU NAEHER
Funeral Mass for Vera Faye Boudreau Naeher, 88, of Purcell, Oklahoma was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman. Rosary service was held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Vera Faye Boudreau Naeher was born May 12, 1919 in Purcell, Oklahoma the daughter of John Henry and Rosana (Marcotte) Boudreau and died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 in Oklahoma City.
Vera grew up in Purcell and graduated from Purcell High School as salutatorian. She lived most of her life in Oklahoma City.
She and John Raymond Naeher were married Dec. 12, 1941 in Taylor County, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1979.
Vera was a member of the Catholic Church. She volunteered and worked with the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: Three sons and their wives: John and Sam Naeher of Tuttle, David and Mary Naeher of Tuttle, Terry and Judy Naeher of Moore; one daughter: Barbara Harris of Garland, Texas; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Interment was in the Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
WAYNE
ELMO PINKSTON
Wayne Elmo Pinkston, 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jan. 3, 2008 in Oklahoma city after a lengthy illness. He was born May 6, 1917 in Cogar, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Viola (Wilson) Pinkston. Wayne attended school at Hazel Dell, Lone Rock, and Binger before graduating from Minco High School in 1935. He had to assume the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters at the age of 18, due to the premature death of his father.
Wayne and Cora were married on March 20, 1942, and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this past year. They operated a dairy and wheat farm for over 60 years southwest of Minco. Wayne served on the Grady County Rural Water Board No. 6. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Minco. Wayne was recognized for having 29 consecutive years of perfect attendance in Sunday School, and served as Sunday School record secretary for many years.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Cora; parents and sister Leota Turner. Wayne is survived by his three children: Dawan Pinkston and wife Juanita of Minco, Wiley Pinkston and wife Annecia of Oklahoma City, and Lawanda (Pinkston) Butler and husband Jim of Edmond. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Lance, Darren, Dawna, Tiffany, Meredith, Ashley, Lauren and Whitley; eight great-grandchildren; his sisters: Oleta Hord of Lincoln, Calif., and Juanita Wakefield of El Sobrante, Calif.
For the last few years of his life, Wayne’s mind was clouded with dementia, but it is perfectly clear today as he and his wife Cora are walking the streets of gold.
Services were held at 10 a.m on Jan. 7, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Minco, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be sent to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 427, Minco, OK 73059.
Burial followed at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
