RICHARD ‘BUGS’ LEON KILPATRICK
Richard “Bugs” Leon Kilpatrick was born December 16, 1924 in Temple, Okla. to Viola Grace (Stansbury) and Thomas Walter Kilpatrick.
He graduated from Temple High School and served in the Army during World War II. Richard and Gladys Joy Eaton married on November 8, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas and they celebrated 59 loving years together.
Richard lived in Oklahoma City before moving to the Tri City area in 1981. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Richard passed away January 9, 2007 at 82 years of age and will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his wife Gladys Joy of Tuttle; his sons, Rick Kilpatrick and his wife, Shirley, of Blanchard, Mick Kilpatrick of Oklahoma City, Billy Wayne Kilpatrick of Tyrone; daughter Joy Levon Blackburn and her husband Dave of Massillon, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Bill Kilpatrick and his wife Liz of Biloxie, Mississippi, Tommy Kilpatrick and his wife Connie of Yantis, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 at the Assembly of God Church in Tuttle. Reverend Larry Harris officiated with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
