RUSSELLA KAY FRANKLIN
Funeral services for Russella Kay Franklin, 56, of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Tuttle First Baptist Church.
Russella Kay Franklin was born April 6, 1950 in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Jim and Mary Lee (Adams) Arganbright and died August 24, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Kay graduated from Chickasha High School in 1968. She lived in Tuttle since 1970 and worked at Star Pharmacy of Tuttle from 1970-2006. Kay was a licensed pharmacy tech and clerk.
She and Joe Franklin were married January 27, 1969 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Kay was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle.
She was preceded in death by: Her mother: Mary Lee Arganbright.
Survivors include: Husband: Joe Franklin of the home; three sons: Ricky Franklin and wife Tami of Tuttle, Jeff Franklin and wife Shelley of Oklahoma City, Michael Franklin of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Father and beloved stepmother: Jim and Ann Arganbright of Tuttle; two sisters: Kristie Scears of Midwest City and Karol Andrew of Tulsa; one brother: Dr. Kim Arganbright of Weatherford; four grandchildren: Kaylee Franklin, Gavin Franklin, Chloe Franklin and Caleb Franklin.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

JESSIE TERENCE MOREHEAD
Jessie Terence Morehead, a resident of Lone Wolf, Okla. was born on March 7, 1974 in San Diego, Calif. to Leroy and Delores (Simmons) Morehead and passed away on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the age of 32.
He married Nicole Beth Hanlin on May 22, 1999 in Lone Wolf, Okla. They were blessed with two children, Spencer Riley, age 5, and Sydney Nicole, age 2 and one-half. Jessie’s most precious gift was his wife and children.
Jessie graduated from Tuttle High School in 1992. He was a carpenter for Hanlin Construction in Lone Wolf, Okla. and also worked for Bink Land & Cattle in Hobart, Okla. Jessie was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed riding four-wheelers and being a “lake bum.”
Survivors include his wife, Nikki and children, Spencer and Sydney, of the home; his mother, Delores Morehead, Tuttle, Okla.; three sisters, Dianna McGoohan, Tuttle, Okla., Pam Bromlow and husband, Carl, Illinois, and Angie Miscoe and husband, Erick, Orlando, Fla.; six brothers, Danny Lindamood and wife, Jennifer, Chickasha, Okla., Donnie Lindamood and wife, Kris, Tuttle, Okla., Michael Morehead and wife, Rachel, Okemah, Okla.; Leroy Morehead, Jr. and wife, Mary Ellen, Kileen, Texas, Arthur Joe Morehead and wife, Kristen, Wylie, Texas; and Jimmie Dale Morehead and wife, Sandra, N.C.; his grandfather, Delbert Bromlow, Waurika, Okla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by an infant child; his father, Leroy Morehead; and his grandmothers, Irene Matlock and Iva Brumlow.
Funeral services for Jessie Terence Morehead will be held on Monday, Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lone Wolf, Okla., officiated by Jay Berry, minister and Jim Riley, minister. Burial will follow at the Hanlin family farm, Lone Wolf, Okla., under the direction of People’s Cooperative Funeral Home in Lone Wolf.
JACK DEWAYNE ‘LIGHTNING’ WAKEFIELD
Services for Jack Dewayne “Lightning” Wakefield, 78 of Minco were held Wednesday, August 30, 2006, 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Minco with Rev. Steve Shellhammer of the Minco First Baptist Church officiating. Burial and military honors were at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
Jack Dewayne “Lightning” Wakefield was born February 21, 1928 southwest of Minco in the Burr Oak community to Fred A. “Fritz” and Bessie (Dobbs) Wakefield and died Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Veterans Medical Center in Norman.
He attended the Burr Oak and Minco schools. He was a member of the Hazel Dell Baptist Church NW of Minco and was baptized on September 13, 1945 in Salyers Lake, NW of Minco. He was raised in the Minco area, moved to El Reno at a later age, and had lived back in Minco the last 22 years. Jack served in the United States Army during WWII in the Japan occupation as a Tech 5. He was a member of the El Reno VFW Post 382 and the El Reno American Legion Post 34. He had worked as a carpenter and retired from the Rock Island Railroad.
He was preceded in death by: Parents: Fritz and Bessie Wakefield; one brother: Arthur Fred Wakefield; an infant daughter: Karrie Lou Wakefield on December 24, 1955 and a brother-in-law: Buford Hines.
He is survived by: two sons and spouses: Joel and Carol Wakefield of Chandler, Brad and Charlotte Wakefield of El Reno; two sisters and brother-in-law: LaVerne Hines of Minco, Virginia and Roy Hayes of Minco; five grandchildren: Joey and Sherry Wakefield of Chandler, Brandi and Michael Murray of Chandler, Brooke and David Pruett of Yukon, Matt Wakefield of Weatherford and Stacy Wakefield of Oklahoma City; five great grandchildren: Braydon Murray of Chandler, Tyler Wakefield, Hunter Treaster and Treyton Ahernd all of Chandler, Tyler Pruett of Yukon.
