GLEN DEAN HANNING
Private family memorial services will be held for Dolores, Colo. resident, Glen Dean Hanning.
Glen was born the son of Dean and Ival (McLaughlin) Hanning on June 11, 1937 in Webb City, Okla. He passed away at his home in Dolores on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the age of 69.
Glen served nine years in the Army during the Korean War. During that time he was stationed in Germany and Amsterdam. He was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Elks. He moved to the Dolores area 3 1/2 years ago and became active in the Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid shooter. Glen also worked with his son-in-law at Lonnie’s Glass in Cortez.
Surviving Glen are his daughter, Melissa Elliott and husband, Heath of Dolores; and two sons, Glen Hanning and wife, Stephanie of Mustang, Okla. and Shawn Hanning and wife, Marsha of Tuttle, Okla. Also surviving Glen are seven grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Jared Woodrow, Miranda Elliott, Alyssa Hanning, Arynn Hanning, and Nathan Hanning; and two sisters, Linda Lou Hanning of Tulsa, Okla. and Patty Plummer of Ponca City, Okla.
