GLEN DEAN HANNING
Private family memorial services were held for Dolores, Colo. resident, Glen Dean Hanning.
Glen was born the son of Dean and Ival (McLaughlin) Hanning on June 11, 1937 in Webb City, Okla. He passed away at his home in Dolores on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the age of 69.
Glen served nine years in the Army during the Korean War. During that time he was stationed in Germany and Amsterdam. He was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Elks.
For many years Glen owned and operated Glen’s Video in Tuttle.
He moved to the Dolores, Colo. area 3 1/2 years ago and became active in the Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid shooter. Glen also worked with his son-in-law at Lonnie’s Glass in Cortez.
Surviving Glen are his daughter, Melissa Elliott and husband, Heath of Dolores; and two sons, Glen Hanning and wife, Stephanie of Mustang, Okla. and Shawn Hanning and wife, Marsha of Tuttle, Okla. Also surviving Glen are seven grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Jared Woodrow, Miranda Elliott, Alyssa Hanning, Arynn Hanning, and Nathan Hanning; and two sisters, Linda Lou Hanning of Tulsa, Okla. and Patty Plummer of Ponca City, Okla.

HILBERT “BERT” SPRAGUE
Funeral services for Hilbert “Bert” Sprague, age 82 of Newcastle, Oklahoma were held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in Sowers Memorial Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home in Tuttle.
Hilbert (Bert) Sprague was born February 6, 1924 in Douglass, Kansas. He died Saturday September 16, 2006 in Tuttle, Oklahoma. He was the son of Orville and Lillie (Crumpton) Sprague.
He married Nellie Siegfried February 18, 1957 in Albany, Oregon. Mr. Sprague served in the U.S. Marines in World War II. He had worked as a furnace operator for a rare metals company in Albany, Oregon. He came back to Oklahoma in 1976 and had lived in Newcastle since 1999.
His parents and two brothers Archie and Herman Sprague preceded him in death.
Survivors include: His wife Nellie Sprague of the home in Newcastle; stepson: Aaron Mitchum of Tuttle; two stepdaughters: Karren Craw of Port Angeles, Washington, Charlotte Dahl of Colville, Washington; one sister: Tessie Taylor of Portland, Oregon; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; numerous nephews and nieces.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
