BILL BINGHAM
Bill Bingham, 68, of Tuttle, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1937 in Oklahoma City. His parents were Ralph Bingham and Jewell Carver Bingham.
Bill grew up on a farm near Pittsburg , Okla. He attended Pittsburg schools and graduated with the class of 1956.
After high school he enlisted into the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean conflict.
On June 24, 1961 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Deralene Hardy. They were married in Guthrie, Okla. and together raised two children.
Bill and his family lived in Oklahoma City for nearly 20 years before moving to Tuttle in 1982.
He worked for OKC Linens, later owned by Nuway Laundry, for nearly 36 years. Throughout his life, Bill enjoyed camping and fishing. In his later years he liked surfing the Internet at home.
Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Amanda Triplett.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Deralene Bingham of the home in Tuttle; one son, Billy Bingham and wife Bobbi of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Denise Palmer and husband Donnie of Alex, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Charles Johnson, Jackie and Stephen Shupert, Kyle Palmer, Jessica Bingham, Krysta Palmer, Julie Bingham and Billy Bingham Jr.; four great grandchildren; Riley and Tyler Johnson, Jaidynn Bingham and Jasmine Bingham.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 at Airport Assembly of God in south Oklahoma City. Officiating was Rev. LaDonna Grissom. Pallbearers were Earl Rose, Stephen Shupert, Charles Johnson, Sam Callaway, Mark Hardy and Frank Blazek. Interment was at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Newcastle.

JAMES EMMETT ELLIOTT
James Emmett Elliott, born April 3, 1934, passed away at the age of 72 on Saturday, December 9, 2006, after a short battle with cancer. Mr. Elliott was born in Minco, OK, and graduated from Vian High School in Vian, OK. He attended Arkansas City Junior College in Arkansas City, KS, where he met and married his wife, Esther Jean. He graduated college from Southwestern State College in Winnfield, KS. He relocated to Buras, LA, in 1958 and was a partner in a successful parts and hardware business. He worked as a businessman in Buras and in Belle Chasse for 40 years, was a resident of Plaquemines Parish for 48 years, and served as a member and a Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse and as Board Member of the First Baptist Church Kindergarten.
Mr. Elliott is preceded in death by his parents: William Christopher and Lula Lattimore; brothers: William C. and John Thomas Elliott; a sister: Ann Lou Basore; and a niece: Lee Anne Roberts.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Esther Jean Lacquement Elliott; two daughters, Kathleen Jean Elliott and husband, D. Stephen Voss of Lexington, KY, and Mary Elizabeth Elliott of Denham Springs, LA; his siblings: Kathleen Lambert and husband Denzille of Lawton, OK, Vertie Belle Elliott of Oklahoma City, OK, Frank Elliott and wife Eleanor of Covington, LA, Charles Elliott and wife Edla of Pokeville, NC, Judy Brown and husband Charles of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Lee Roberts and husband Troy of Westville, OK, Faye Anderson and husband Bobby of Vian, OK, Aaron Elliott and wife Billie June of Vian, OK; nephews: W. Christopher Elliott, FJ Elliott, Mark, Bill, Charles-Alan, Steven, and BillBob and nieces Denise, Wendy, Diane, Cheri, Carol, Chris, Jane-Anne, Susan, Sherry, Maryanne, Troy-Lynne and three grandchildren, Gareth James Voss, Corrine Faye Elliott and Elizabeth Rene Elliott all of Lexington, KY, and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a funeral service at First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse at 8828 Hwy 23 at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 12, 2006. A visitation was held at the church from 9 AM until funeral time on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held with extended family in Minco, OK at Graveside only Friday, December 15, 2006 at 1 PM with Rev. Steve Shellhammer, pastor Minco First Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Elliott will be laid to rest in the Elliott family plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, OK with arrangements by Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
