Snow Hill to host Advent celebration on Sunday evening

The Tuttle Times

TUTTLE Art is interesting. A search for art related to the angel Gabriel’s visit to Mary reveals the habit of placing the events alongside contemporary scenes and architecture.

Hope to connect the coming of Jesus often flattens out as we take our “Nativity Sets” out to decorate for Christmas.

Modern worship celebrations around Season of Advent offer an opportunity to locate the impact of these events in our own lives and times acknowledging the complexities of life facing the people about whom we read in the Scriptures.

Sunday evening December 3 at 6:00 p.m. Snow Hill Baptist Church will share in a special Advent Celebration encouraging people us to consider the ways in which we might respond to the coming of Jesus with renewed commitment its importance for our own lives as well as how me may share the life of Jesus with others.
