Addison Paxton was student of the week in Mrs. Hall’s third grade class January 8-12. Addison is the daughter of Lonnie and Misti Paxton. Addison’s mother, Misti, thought it would be neat for the class to visit the Opera House in Tuttle. When the class arrived at the Opera House the mayor of Tuttle, Lonnie Paxton, met us at the door to the old bank building to tell us about the history of the building. The class then boarded the elevator which took them to the Opera House where he told a little about its history. Addison’s grandmother, Cheryl Paxton, told the class about the history of Tuttle and had pictures of the past to show the students. Addison’s granddad, John Paxton, then talked to the class about the importance of farming. Mrs. Misti Paxton had root beer floats for the class to enjoy after the talks. Some of Addison’s favorites are: Subject in School - Math; Color - Pink; Food - Macaroni and Cheese; Sport - Dance and Basketball
Trenton Slattery, son of Aaron and Brenda Slattery, was student of the week in Mrs. Hall’s third grade class November 27 - December 1. He told us how they wash a big rig truck. Mrs. Slattery told about her job as a teacher with the Tuttle Schools. Some of Trenton’s favorites: Subject in school - Math; Color - Pink; Food - Pizza; Sport - Football (Colts); Music - Rock
