Then slected to All-State

The Coach Association announced last week their selection for the 2008 All-State Wrestling Teams. Tuttle’s senior wrestler Adam Then was selected for the 112-pound position for the Small School West Division. He will be facing senior wrestler Hunter Wilson of Perkins, who was chosen as the 112-pound position for the Small School East Division.

Adam is a four-year letterman on the Tuttle Tiger Wrestling Team. His commitment to leadership earned him the position of team captain for the 2007-2008 wrestling season along with being awarded the 2008 Tiger Achievement Award. Adam has earned the title of two-time state placer, winning third place in 2007 and winning fourth place in 2008. He holds a career record of 90 wins. Adam’s 4.15 GPA greatly influenced the Tuttle Tiger’s 2006 State Academic Championship and 2008 State Academic Championship honors. Upon graduation, Adam’s plans include college.

The All State Wrestling competition will be held at the Norman High School on Tuesday, July 28 at 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
