Simpson and Treadway picked for All State Wrestling Team

TUTTLE — Tuttle seniors Justin Fancher, Zac Simpson, Zack Mincey, and Taylor Treadway were nominated for the 2007 All State Wrestling Team.

The competition is tough. The Oklahoma Wrestling Coaches Association (OCWA) selection committee reviews the wrestlers overall career with emphasis on their senior year achievements and the wrestlers overall abilities.

Honors went to Zac Simpson and Taylor Treadway who were selected by the OCWA to participate on the All State Wrestling Team for Small West Division. Zack Mincey and Justin Fancher were named honorable mention.

This years All State Wrestling Team for Small West Division will be 112–Tyler Brooks, Marlow; 119 Sean Rasmussen, Cordell; 125-Aaron Richards, Hobart; 130-Jordan Bond, Kingfisher; 135-Camron Roedel, Kingfisher; 140-Zac Simpson, Tuttle; 145-Kody Bickerstaff, Marlow; 152-Zackery McCloud, Blanchard; 160-John Reeves, Burns Flat/DC; 171-Kory Selman, Weatherford; 189-Taylor Treadway, Tuttle; 215 James Buller, Weatherford; HWT-Shavod Atkinson, Hobart.

They will be competing against Small East Division which consist of 112-Billy Burt, Wagoner; 119-Rory Kendall, Vinita; 125-Joe Ewy, Blackwell; 130-Ry Fleming, Perry; 135-Chris Phillips, Sperry; 140-Derek Ward, Locust Grove; 145-Shawn Ledford, Pawnee; 152-Will Shelton, Sperry; 160-Kale Biggs, Bristow; 171-Dustin Sloan, Pawnee; 189-Matt Cless, Blackwell; 215-Randy Tonche, Sallisaw; HWT-Caleb Stapleton, Jay.
