Tuttle middle school

The Tuttle Middle School Cheerleaders recently returned from a National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) summer camp held at the University of Oklahoma.
The squad received the following awards at the summer camp. The Spirit Stick was awarded to the squad, this award is presented to the squads showing sincere spirit and enthusiasm throughout the entire week at camp. The National Championship Bid Winner was also received by the squad. This tremendous accomplishment is awarded to the team Bid Winner exemplifying the best technical skill and cheerleading technique. This bid is extended to teams to compete at the NCA Senior and Junior High School National Championship or NCA ALL-Star National Championships are both held in Dallas, Texas. The NCA Championships are the world's largest cheerleading events, bringing in over 20,000 cheerleaders for the nation's most exciting cheerleading competitions. The squad received an NCA Chant/Cheer Trophy for displaying superior skills in the that division. The entire squad received individual Excellent Evaluation ribbons. In addition, the following squad members were chosen as NCA All-American Team Members, they are: Sarah Dearing, Taylor Hill, Nitasha Long, Kaitlyn Mounce and Katelyn Teachman.
Nicole Breeden, sponsor, completed the NCA Cheer Coaches' Certification Program. She was recognized for her technical knowledge and hands-on training in the field of cheerleading through active participation in the NCA program.
Members of the Tuttle Middle School Cheerleading squad for 2007-2008 are Eighth graders: Sarah Dearing, Taylor Hill, Nitasha Long, Kaitlyn Mounce, Morgan Sharp and Katelyn Teachman Seventh graders: Kieli Brimm, Hannah Clabaugh, Katie Coats, Lainie Halstead, Brittiny Hodges, Kelsey Smith, Kelsey Sorenson, Erin Walker, McKensey Wallis and Taylor Walls.
