Williams, Turner say vows
The Tuttle Times
OKLAHOMA CITY —
Heidi Ileen Williams and Jacob Brent Turner were united in marriage at 1 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Walnut Creek Wedding Chapel in Oklahoma City with Dr. Gene Nease officiating.
Candelabra accented the front of the chapel, along with white roses and a unity candle. Each pew was decorated with black bows and white roses. David Briscoe was the musician and played the piano and sang "Our Prayer" during the lighting of the unity candle.
The bride is the daughter of Tammy Ileen Williams of Seattle, WA and the groom is the son of the late Don Turner and Janie (Turner) Williams and Ross Williams of Springfield, Mo.
The bride wore a tiara and a beautiful ivory silk strapless gown tufted all the way down the train with beads embedded at each tuft. The bodice was fitted and trimmed with beads. She carried a bouquet of white roses.
Maid of Honor was Sammantha Williams, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michele Hesterly, friend of the bride; Sunny Adams, sister of the groom; Kristina Williams, friend of the bride, all of Springfield, Mo. and Jenny Murry, sister-in-law of the bride of Seattle, Wash.. The attendants all wore short strapless black satin dresses and carried bouquets of white roses.
Best man was David Turner, uncle of the groom, of Amber, Okla; groomsmen were Bill Belt, friend of the groom of Tuttle, David Wilson, friend of the groom of Cache, Okla., Kristopher Williams, brother of the bride of Springfield, Mo., and Jake Murry, brother of the bride of Seattle, Wash. Each wore black tuxes and a white rose boutonniere.
The flower girl was Tatum Murry, niece of the bride of Seattle, Wash. and carried a basket of white rose petals. She wore a white sleeveless chiffon dress with black bow in the back. The ring bearer was Denver Adams, nephew of the groom of Springfield, Mo.
A luncheon reception was held at the chapel following the ceremony. The wedding cake was a beautiful four-tiered white cake accented with black trim and a black bow on top. The groom’s cake was chocolate and an exact replica of the original Nintendo system. The reception table featured an ice sculpture punch bowl.
The best man and maid of honor each toasted the bride and groom. Immediately following, the DJ started the music and the bride and groom danced to “I Cross My Heart.” One of the reception highlights was when Brent’s 95-yr-old grandmother, Ressie Baldwin of Minco, Okla. danced with him to “Shout.”
The couple will live in Yukon, Okla. and plan a honeymoon for early next year.
